At some point in that process, there's a good chance something will go wrong.

There’s no such thing as being too prepared. Hopefully, it’s all rainbows and unicorns. Everyone shows up, the weather cooperates, and the equipment works flawlessly. We’d love that. We also know better than to count on it. So we prepare, stay open to the unexpected, and Prioritize the creative. It starts with collaboration and trust with our clients. We value want different perspectives, feedback, and that “What if?” that makes everyone stop and rethink. Nobody needs another echo chamber. Some of the best ideas come from simply talking things through, including the challenges. And if that occasionally involves breathing into a brown paper bag where nobody can see us, or performing a small pagan ritual, that’s part of the process too.

We make sure good ideas survive bad days.

None of this works without

great ideas,
great people,
and strong coffee.

We work with people who give a damn. About the idea, about their part in it, and about the people working alongside them.

Our job is to give them the support to do their best work, even if they only drink decaf.

Who’sbehindthis?

Tyler Stephenson is the Founder and Executive Producer of Coffee Robot, a production company devoted to distinctive storytelling and creative excellence. His path to filmmaking began with training alongside Olympic gold medalists, where he developed the discipline and focus that inform his leadership today. With a degree in Exercise Science and a specialization in neuroscience, Tyler brings a keen understanding of human behavior to his work.

He has worked with Farm League, MJZ, and RSA, and contributed to projects for Amazon Prime and Freevee, including the Peabody Award-winning season of Jury Duty, Play-Doh Squished, and the Emmy-winning Judy Justice. Tyler brings creative ambition and practical production insight to stories that entertain, move, and spark curiosity.

Chris’s production journey started with no contacts, no shortcuts, and a 27-hour music video shoot that earned him his first real paycheck—and hooked him for life. He started as a PA on commercials, indie films, music videos, and network shows like CSI: Miami and The Shield. From there, he moved up the ranks, AD’ing a handful of fun blow-’em-up, shoot-’em-up late-night B-movies of the early 2000s. (He’ll happily send you a trailer or three.) His tenure at Rhythm & Hues Studios is where it all clicked. He discovered a passion for the fast-paced world of commercials and branded content, the creative pressure of tight turnarounds, and the satisfaction of making every frame count.

Since then, Chris has worked across Super Bowl spots, global campaigns, documentaries, and quick-turnaround social media shoots, collaborating with top agencies, production companies, and brands of every size. At Coffee Robot, that experience comes to every project. At home, he’s just Dad—outnumbered by his amazing wife, daughter, and a way-too-energetic husky.

Ian Sadler is a bilingual producer with French-American roots and a hands-on approach to getting things done. He started the old-fashioned way—lugging gear, wrangling schedules, and learning the ins and outs of set life from every angle. That ground-up experience shaped the way he works: collaborative, unflappable, and always a step ahead. His credits span commercials for brands such as Nestlé and Credit One, as well as music videos for artists including Ty Dolla Sign and Boys World. Whether managing big builds or fast-paced shoots, Ian brings calm focus and creative flexibility to every project.

Outside the production world, Ian is also a professional stunt driver and drifter (yes, seriously). He has taught at top driving schools and has performed in films like Your Lucky Day. That unique blend of precision, discipline, and controlled chaos isn’t just a party trick—it’s part of what makes him such a valuable presence on set.
